The AluGuard cover kit does not include a cutting blade.

• Make sure to use a 125 mm circular carbide-tipped cutter with blade thickness 2−4

mm.

• Other types of cutting blades can cause loss of application control with lethal

wounds or property damage as a result.

• Regularly inspect the cutting blade for damage and cracking.

• Blunt cutting blades will run hot. When blunt, resharpen the blade.

• If damaged or cracked, replace the cutting blade with a new one.

Assembly Instructions

Rotating parts may cause severe injury and property damage.

Shut off the air supply, drain the hose of air pressure, and disconnect the tool from the

compressed air line before installing the product.

To assemble the AluGuard cover kit, do the following:

Before placing the cutting blade on the spindle, make sure that the blade rotates in the cor-

rect direction. Compare with the rotation direction shown on the tool.

Place the cutting blade on the spindle of the tool.

Place the spacer in the center of the blade. Make sure that blade and the spacer rotate

freely and properly.

Place the cover over the cutting blade and spacer. Press the cover into the correct position

making sure that the spacer remains centered.

Place the flange nut in the center of the cover and turn it clockwise.

Lock the flange nut clockwise with the pin spanner.

Before operating the tool, check that:

• The protection guard is moving freely.

• The guard is closing quickly when released.
