OPERATION
To avoid vibrations, the cabinet must be installed horizontally.
To start the refrigerator, turn the temperature control knob to the desired position. The
actual refrigerator temperature depends on the amount of food and how often the door
is opened.
Turn the knob to position O to temporarily switch off the refrigerator. After defrosting
or if the refrigerator has been off for some time, set the regulator to the maximum
refrigeration temperature for 2 to 3 hours. Afterwards, set it back to the desired
temperature.
If the refrigerator will not be used for a longer period of time, unplug it from the power
outlet and leave the door open.
Note: If the power has been disconnected, wait 3 to 5 minutes before restarting the
refrigerator.
Defrosting
This refrigerator is equipped with a push button that activates the (semi-automatic)
defrost system. Press the temperature control knob to defrost (but do not turn it to O). The
defrost cycle will start immediately. When the defrost cycle is complete, the push button
is automatically released and the refrigerator resumes normal operation.
Note: If the push button has been activated, it cannot be deactivated manually. You
must run through the defrost cycle.
