An over temperature shutdown is indicated by a rapid flashing of
the system LED.

4.3 Over voltage- (transient) protection

Additional to the other protection circuits, the DDA2-XL is protected
against transient voltages on the mains supply.
But continuous overvoltage, which is an indicator for a faulty mains
supply, causes overheating of the protection device.
To prevent damage to the DDA2-XL by overheating of this device
and then by over voltage, there is a thermo-fuse which cuts off the
power supply.
If this happens, the temperature fuse must be replaced, either by us
or by an electrician.

The LEDs on the front panel have the following meaning:
DMX OK green
SYS yellow
Ch1-2 green
V
red
yellow
lit = valid DMX512 signal
blink = signal error or no DMX signal
blink = system busy
rapid blinking = overtemperature shut down
brightness proportional to output 1 - 2
error on output 1 - 2 / short circuit
extern input closed
