DDA2-XL
V2.02
2.2 Hold last values / call scene
The DDA2-XL hold the last valid DMX data unless the DMX input
is valid again.
Note: Even if a frame has been recognized as valid, it may
happen that data bytes had been changed. (disconnected line).
To deactivate "Hold", set the first switch of the red DIP-switch into
the ON position (see also 3.3).
2.3 Brightness adjustments (offset)
LED- Filament bulbs / LED light chains have different voltage levels
at which they begin emitting light and at which level they reach their
maximum brightness in spite the dimmer isn't at 100%.
This has its cause in the manufacturing tolerance and by the series
connection of the LEDs. The DDA2-XL has two selectable offsets
(start and limit) per channel to solve this problem.
To avoid "dead zones" in which no or barely noticeable changes in
brightness takes place, a separate lower and upper start value /
limit value (offset) can be set on the DDA2-XL for each channel.
These offsets are set on the rotary code switches, each
independently for the lower and upper limits.
Switch 2 and 3 of the red DIP-switch selects the channel (1 & 2) to
which the offset will be programmed (ON position). Each selected
output shows directly the offset settings.
Each store process of an offset value causes a new calculation/
actualizing of the internal curves, too.
2.3.1
Lower Offset (start value)
The lower offset sets the lamp brightness for the DMX512 value
1digit (0.4%).
The 8 at the left rotary code switch activates this mode and the
other two switches are for the offset value. This value is given to all
selected outputs.
