In windy conditions, very high forces act on an extended awning, which put an
excessive strain on the entire construction and the mounting consoles in particular.
For this reason, fitting the awning requires in-depth knowledge of the state and
loadbearing capacity of the fitting base, as this is necessary to determine the fastening
materials as well as how many additional mounting consoles may be needed.
From a wind strength of 5 and during rain (snow), awnings have to be retracted and
must not be extended!
Do not allow children to play with the awning control elements, fixed controls or the
remote control! Keep the remote control in a safe place so that unintentional operation,
e.g. by children playing, is ruled out.
Keep persons away from the moving awning until it has stopped moving.
If necessary, make sure the building owner has approved of awning installation.
