Fitting the wall console and the awning
Fitting the awning takes at least 2 people.
1. Mark the fitting height. Make sure that the consoles
are at the exact same height. Use a guide line if
necessary.
2. Make sure that the consoles are located at the moun-
ting points for the awning brackets! (See specifications
/ drawing for spacing / position of wall consoles
on page 28).
3. Drill the holes for the fitting anchors (please follow
the manufacturer instructions!). We recommend
heavy-duty anchors!
4. Vacuum the dust from the bore holes and insert the
anchors into the drilled holes until the set stop.
5. Remove the locating screws from the consoles.
6. Insert the consoles on the intended threaded rods on
the anchors and tighten the nuts by hand. Align the
consoles using a level. Then, tighten all nuts / screws.
Make sure all fastenings are secure in the wall!
7. Slide the awning supporting tube into the consoles and
secure the awning (supporting tube) to the consoles
using the screws.
8. Make sure that all screws / nuts are tightened securely.
