1.Vacuum packaging

The vacuum packaging system is the most economical, reliable and natural method of preservation
available on the market, and is based on a simple chemical/physical principle, whereby removing the air
from a product prevents oxidation and decomposition of the same, since air is actually the fuel for the
bacteria that decompose the food.
It should be pointed out that even though the air is removed from the bag, in reality a very small quantity
of air remains inside the bag, therefore there is a strong slowing down of the process of oxidation and
decay of the product, decay which takes place in a much longer time, up to 5 times its natural life,
according to the type of food and where it is kept, whether in the room, in the refrigerator or in the freezer.
It must be said that the vacuum does not reduce the bacterial load, but it avoids the proliferation or
strongly limits it, and does not completely stop the process of decay of the product, but it slows it down
significantly, allowing a strong economic and energy savings.

2.0 Introduction

2.1 The External Vacuum Packaging Machines are designed to vacuum pack foodstuffs or other products
which require vacuum in bags or containers suitable for the specific use, therefore all other applications do
not comply with the purpose for which the line of packaging machines were designed. Failure to comply
with the scope of application will immediately invalidate the product warranty and will not guarantee the
correct operation of the machine.
2.2 The external suction machines are suitable to pack dry products without liquids, it is therefore
important that no products with liquids are suctioned in order to avoid the breakage of the machine, also
creating a serious dangerous situation for the user.
2.3 External suction machines must be used exclusively with embossed bags such as those provided.
2.4 The electrical connection of the machine must be made with a voltage and frequency suitable for the
machine and which is shown on the identification label of the machine.
2.5 Do not protect the machine with fuses having a value higher than the value indicated on the
identification label of the machine.
2.6 The vacuum packaging machines with external suction have been designed and are built to pack dry
products, free from humidity and liquids, therefore it is possible to use it to pack cold cuts, various
seasoned sausages, pasta, vegetables, meat, fish, etc.
2.7 During operation you will hear a different sound depending on the state of the machine, as mentioned
above, it adjusts its power optimizing it to the best, with consecutive changes in operating noise, all this is
completely regular and ensures high performance with optimized consumption avoiding waste and
excessive overheating of components resulting in longer product life.
