Attention:

Always fully charge batteries before using them
for the first time.
ƒ
Charge the batteries continuously for 24 hours at
least once a month.
ƒ
The battery connection method is illustrated on a
diagram on the inside of the battery cover.
ƒ
Be careful with damaged batteries. Leave
(environmentally-friendly) replacement of the
batteries to your dealer.
Tyres
Warning:
For safety reasons always ensure that the tyre
ƒ
pressure on your mobility scooter is correct. If the
tyre pressure is too low, your scooter's roadholding
will deteriorate, its operating range will decrease
and the steering will become heavier.
Attention:
ƒ
The Presto has tubeless tires.
ƒ
In the event of a flat tyre, please contact your
dealer. However it is possible to drive at very
low speed and short distance with a flat tyre it is
recommended to minimize.
ƒ
The pneumatic tyres of the mobility scooter must
have sufficient pressure. Check this regularly.
ƒ
If the tyre pressure is too low you will not be able
to drive as far.
ƒ
The pressure of the front tyre must be at least
3 bar.
ƒ
The pressure of the rear tyres must be at least 3
bar.
ƒ
The maximum tyre pressure is 3.5 bar.
ƒ
If the tyre pressure is too high, driving will become
uncomfortable.
ƒ
Regularly check the tyres for wear and tear (due to
drying out).

Service and technical support
At least once a year have the mobility scooter checked
and serviced by your dealer. Preventive maintenance
ensures that the proper and correct functioning of all
moving parts is checked, as well as the electronics and
the condition of the batteries.
Repairs should only be performed by your dealer or
by Life & Mobility, and only original parts supplied by
Life & Mobility should be used for this.
