Fault

Cause
Failure in the pressure
line, the pump fre-
quently switches on
and off as a result of
leakage.
Pressure loss due to
missing or defective
backflow valve
Pressure reduction by
leakages in the sys-
tem
Pressure reduction by
air in the system
Suction pipe blocked
Pre-filter is dirty
Suction side is leaky
The quantity trans-
ported by the pump
depends on the trans-
port height and the
connected periphery
Remedy
Check and correct the pressure line for
leakages (dripping water tap).
Restart the pump by simultaneously
pressing the + / - buttons.
Make sure that the backflow valve is at-
tached directly to the suction input.
Check backflow valve for function and
tightness.
Check all connection locations on the
suction and pressure sides as well as all
the lids for tightness.
Install a pressure compensating contain-
er on the pressure side. As an alterna-
tive, an elastic pressure hose can be
used as a pressure tank.
Pull out the mains plug and clean the
suction pipe
Remove the pre filter and clean it under
flowing water, rinse any dirt residues
from the filter intake by opening the dis-
charge opening.
Check the entire suction side for leaks
