1. Switching On/Off
1) Pull the power cord out from the storage position slowly (Fig. 6).
2) Connect the mains plug to a suitable power outlet.
3) To turn the vacuum cleaner ON, press the On/Off switch once. To turn the vacuum cleaner OFF,
press the power switch again (Fig. 7).
2. Vacuum Operation

CLEANER FILTER, ENSURE THAT THE POWER CORD IS UNPLUGGED AND
SWITCHED OFF.
1) Remove the pre-installed pre-filter and fully fit the dust bag onto the inlet stub.
2) Place the pre-filter back into the collection tank. The pre-filter is designed to cover the full
circumference of the collection tank.
3) Secure the locking end of the hose into the vacuum inlet port.
4) Push the desired accessories onto the hose nozzle. The air flow regulation on the suction hose
allows you to change vacuum cleaner suction. For best cleaning results, fully close the air flow
regulation (Fig. 8).
NOTE:
Open the air flow regulation for lightweight rugs or thick carpets. Close the air flow
regulation for upholstery, hard floor or low pile carpets.
5) Verify that the collection tank latches are secured. Plug the power cord into a power outlet.
6) Turn on the vacuum cleaner by pressing the On/Off switch.
7) Once you have completed vacuuming, press the On/Off switch again to turn Off and unplug the
power cord from the power outlet.
IMPORTANT: Check the filter regularly for optimal performance. An old or blocked filter will
reduce suction performance.
3. Understanding Your Floor Nozzle
1) The floor nozzle can be adjusted to ensure best pick up performance on carpet and hard floor
surfaces.
2) For use of carpet, ensure the floor selector is in the upright position (Fig. 9).
3) For use on hard floor surfaces, ensure the floor selector is depressed into the downward
position (Fig 10).
