Maintenance and Cleaning

Note: To ensure long and reliable service, carry out the follow-
ing maintenance regularly.
Regularly check for obvious defects such as loose fixings, and
worn or damaged components.
Check if guards and protective devices are undamaged and
properly mounted. Before using, carry out any necessary
maintenance and repairs.
Adjusting the Blade
The cutting cylinder should be adjusted if the grass is not cut
cleanly and evenly.
Turn both adjuster knobs 9 clockwise a little at time until the
cutting cylinder 11 lightly brushes the bottom blade 12.
Note: The blades act like a pair of shears.

After Mowing/Storage
Clean the exterior of the garden product thoroughly using a
soft brush and cloth. Do not use water, solvents or polishes.
Remove all debris.
Turn the machine on its side and clean the blade area. If grass
cuttings are compacted in the blade area, remove with a
wooden or plastic implement.
Store the machine in a secure, dry place out of the reach of
children. Do not place other objects on top of the machine.
