Frequently asked questions about Qi* wireless charging
Why does my smartphone heat up slightly when charging? This is normal. An
induction coil is located under the area dedicated to charging your smartphone. When
it is on, it produces an electromagnetic field. This results in slight heating, just as with
conventional charging with a cord.
Is the charging time the same for wired and wireless charging? Yes, if the AC
adapter of your mobile device delivers an output power equivalent to that delivered
by this wireless charging station (5 W), or if your charging accessory (induction charge
card, case, etc.) supports an output power of 5 W. Check the specifications of your AC
adapter or charging accessory to find out its output power.
