Inserting/replacing batteries

1. Remove the battery compartment cover located at the bottom of the device.
2. Insert 4 new AA/LR6 batteries (not included in the package) into the battery
compartment. Ensure that the polarity of each battery corresponds to the symbols (+
and -) in the battery compartment.
3. Replace the battery compartment cover.
Notes:
-
Inserting batteries into the device is optional. The batteries are only for keeping the
record of the time and the date setting in the event of a power failure.
-
Without the batteries, the date and time will be reset to the factory default values in
the event of a power failure.
-
With or without the batteries, the other setting including the alarm setting and the
preset radio stations will be retained in the event of a power failure.
● If you do not insert batteries, you will need to set the date and time again
after experiencing a power failure or unplugging the device.

Only use the type of batteries specified in this guide.
●
Replace the batteries when they are flat or in case of leakage.
●
Remove the batteries prior to an extended period of non-use of the device.
