Maintenance and service
Prior to every use of the equipment, verify that the device is
technically safe and in proper working condition. Damaged
leads must be replaced immediately!
The Endo-Stroboscope L is low-maintenance; only a fuse
or fl ash lamp replacement might be necessary.
However, the regulations and directives applicable to the
specifi c area of use must be complied with.
Maintenance or opening and repair of the Endo-Strobos-
cope L (with the exception of the cleaning work described
in these operating instructions) may only be carried out by
ATMOS or a specialist authorised by ATMOS. In this case
attention should be paid to the protective technical and
hygiene measures plus the descriptions in the servicing
instructions for ATMOS Endo-Stroboscope L.
For repair, this device can be returned to ATMOS.
Before returning the device for repair, clean and disinfect
it.
ATMOS cannot guarantee perfect functioning neither will
it be liable for damage to people or property if:
• any non-original ATMOS parts are used,
• the user instructions given in this manual are not fol
lowed exactly or are disregarded,
• assembly, resetting, alterations, extensions and repairs
are not carried out by people authorised by ATMOS.
No warranty rights shall exist in the event of damage or
failure caused by the use of non-ATMOS accessories or
non-ATMOS consumables.

Exchanging fuses
See section 4.3.
Further fuses are not accessible from outside.
7.2
Exchanging the fl ash lamp
Due to the reliable lamp technology a defect of the fl ash tube
might occur only after more than 1000 operating hours. A defect
can be recognized from a slight intensity loss.
Exchange of the fl ash lamp is possible only by a service
technician !

Entretien et service
Avant toute mise en service, effectuez un contrôle visuel
de l'appareil, assurez-vous qu'il soit parfaitement raccordé
au réseau.
L'Endostroboscope L est sans maintenance; seulement
le remplacement d'un fusible ou de la lampe fl ash est
nécessaire.
La maintenance ou l'ouverture et la réparation de l'Endo-
stroboscope L (sauf le nettoyage décrit dans cette notice
d'utilisation) doivent seulement être effectuées par ATMOS
ou par un spécialiste autorisé par ATMOS. Dans ce cas, il
faut se conformer aux mesures de protection technique et
d'hygiène, aux instructions de sécurité du chapitre 2.0.
Cet appareil peut être retourné chez ATMOS pour toute
réparation
Avant tout retour chez ATMOS, l'appareil doit être nettoyé
et désinfecté.
ATMOS ne se porte pas garant pour les dommages cor-
porels et matériels quand:
• il n'a pas été utilisé des pièces originales ATMOS,
• les notes d'utilisation de cette notice d'utilisation n'ont
pas été respectées
• le montage, les nouveaux réglages, les modifi cations,
les extensions et réparations n'ont pas été réalisés
par le personnel autorisé par ATMOS

7.1
Remplacement des fusibles
Voir paragraphe 4.3.
Les autres fusibles ne sont pas accessible de l'extérieur.
7.2
Remplacement du fl ash
Grâce à la technologie de lampe, le tube à éclairs ne peut
tomer en panne avant 1000 heures. On remarque dans ce
cas une baisse minimale de la luminosité.
Seul le technician de service peut procéder au remplace-
ment du fl ash !
