Introduction

T-Sinus 130 Komfort functions as a gateway and router for access into the Internet via DSL for cable-linked and cordless dome-
stic networks. In addition, it is also the access point for computers with a radio module into a cable-linked network. It contains a
printer server which allows a printer to be integrated into the network.
Please pay attention to the safety notices, system requirements, installation measures and the terms of the guarantee as descri-
bed in detail in the T-Sinus 130 Komfort user manual (see the enclosed CD).

Insert the enclosed CD into the CD-ROM drive. If the autorun function is activated, the start window will appear automatically.
Click the option T-Sinus 130 Komfort first and then the Manual symbol. The manual will then be opened.
If this does not occur: Click the option Acrobat Reader® in the start window and then select Install. Follow the instructions
which appear on the screen.
In the operating steps of this quick reference guide you will be informed where the detailed instructions are to be found. The
signs mean as follows: +: If you click the plus sign in front of the bookmark you will be shown a list of all the related topics which
are described. Text in bold type: The description is to be found under this bookmark.

Hardware installation

1 x CD-ROM with software, detailed operating instructions and an integrated quick
reference guide in the German, Turkish and English languages.
For the purposes of installation you may require an additional Ethernet cable or a
wireless access to a computer via T-Sinus 130data or T-Sinus 130card!
First connect up the DSL modem to the public network as described in the mo-
dem manual.
In order to connect up the T-Sinus 130 Komfort to the DSL modem, you must
plug the enclosed Ethernet cable into the socket labelled WAN at the back of the
device. Plug the other end into the modem.

Connect up the T-Sinus via a Class 5 Ethernet cable with an RJ45 connector
(not a BNC (T) connector) to either a computer or to the hub or switch of a
LAN.
Connect up the T-Sinus 130 Komfort to the mains with the plug-in power sup-
ply unit provided.
The power supply must correspond with the one stated on the namepla-
te!
