USING THE REMOTE CONTROL

The remote control functions are identical to those on the control panel. See the section "Operation" on the previous
page for a description of the functions.

INSERTING OR REPLACING BATTERIES

- Remove the cover on the rear of the remote control;
- Insert the button battery (model CR/2032/3V) into remote control with the positive pole (smooth side) facing up.
- Replace the cover.
- Old batteries must be removed and disposed of in accordance with current legislation as they are harmful to the
environment.
Safety Features
1. This heater includes an audible alarm to warn that parts of the heater are getting excessively hot. If the alarm
sounds, immediately turn the heater off and inspect for any objects on or adjacent to the heater that may cause
high temperature.
DO NOT OPERATE THE HEATER WITH THE ALARM SOUNDING.
2. A thermal overload protector is built-in to prevent overheating.
3. When an overheat temperature is reached, the heater will be automatically shut off . It can only resume operation
when the user resets the unit. (See RESET INSTRUCTIONS below)
Reset instructions
1. Unplug the heater and wait 20 minutes for the unit to cool down.
2. After the 20 minutes, plug the unit in again and operate normally.
Troubleshooting tips
If your heater shuts off unexpectedly or fails to operate, one of the above-mentioned safety features may have
activated to prevent overheating.
1. Be sure the power cord is plugged into a working electrical outlet.
2. Check your thermostat setting. The heater may be off because it has reached the desired temperature setting.
