When the appliance has reached the end of its service

life, especially in the event of malfunctions, render the
appliance unserviceable.
Discharge the battery completely by letting the appliance
run until the motor stops.
Remove the battery from the appliance by pressing the
button on the battery holder and removing the battery block.
Empty the suction nozzle in the household trash before
disposing of the appliance.
Unserviceable electrical and electronic appliances and
rechargeable batteries often contain valuable materials.
But they also contain hazardous materials, which are
necessary for the correct function and safety of the appli-
ances. In household refuse, or if handled incorrectly,
these substances are hazardous to human health and the
environment.
Never dispose of unserviceable appliances and the
rechargeable battery with the household refuse!
Make use of your local recycling facilities for recycling of
electrical and electronic appliances and rechargeable
batteries.
Dispose of rechargeable batteries separately!
Check with the local authorities or your retailer.
Store the unserviceable appliance and the rechargeable
battery safely out of the reach until disposal!
