Assembly / Operation
● Hold the hose handle securely with one hand.
● With the other hand take hold of the sliding sleeve.
● Pull or push the telescopic tube until the desired
length has been attained.
● The battery operated backpack vacuum cleaner is now
ready for use.
ATTENTION!
Before using the appliance, make sure that all filters
and the dust bag are inserted and intact.
Open the device and check the filter. Also see the
"After use" chapter.
Power-on / off
Operate the switch on the battery. It is on the right on the
front of the battery.
You can now begin your cleaning work.
You can work for approximately 45 minutes with the
RS 17 A-45. The cleaning time of the RS 17 A-60 is
approximately 60 minutes.
Please note:
The battery heats up during use.
The battery switches off once its capacity has been
reached, i.e. the vacuum cleaner switches off abruptly
when the battery is empty.
The battery control prevents charging whilst the bat-
tery is still hot. The charging indicator light on the
charger therefore continues to emit a green light.
The charging process starts automatically once the
battery has cooled.
The suction power can be regulated with the suction
control. Use this sliding control only for temporary regu-
lation of the suction power.

NOTICE!
Only use original Fakir / nilco filters. Only in this way will
the filter of the vacuum cleaner remain effective.
