WARNING! Important instructions regarding the handling
of the lithium ion battery
Risks
● Electrolyte can escape from damaged batteries. Avoid coming into
contact with it.
● If you touch it, it could result in skin irritations and chemical burns.
● Consult a doctor if the liquid comes into contact with your eyes.
● Avoid inhaling caustic vapor.
Use and storage
Danger! Improper use could result in an explosion or a fire. Store batteries
out of the reach of children.
● Only insert the battery into the device when it is used. The battery
should always be removed from the device for transport and storage.
● Temperature range for storage: 5 to 40 °C.
● Do not open the battery, dismantle it or drop it from too great a height.
● Protect the battery from short circuits – danger of explosion.
● Keep the battery out of the rain; do not immerse it in liquid – danger
of a short circuit.
● Protect the battery from direct sunlight, heat and fire.
● Do not burn the battery – risk of explosion.
● Do not use any defective or deformed batteries.
● Do not charge rechargeable lithium ion batteries unsupervised.
● Nilco batteries may only be used with the Nilco device.
● Nilco batteries may only be used with the original charger.
● Charge the battery before use.
● When transporting the devices with batteries, observe the transport
regulations for lithium ion batteries.
