Raising the operating height by 1 m raises the displayed air pressure by 0.11 hPa.
The height in metres entered then appears to the left of the operating field.
The corrected air pressure value is shown in the line above the operating field.
If the exact height is not known but if the actual relative air pressure is known
accurately (weather office, Internet, radio, etc.), the height can be adjusted until the
corrected value shows the actual relative air pressure.

Comparison of the rainfall reading indicator

The rainfall measuring system is delivered ex-works with a very high accu-
racy, so that normally no comparison is required.
A comparison is only necessary when very high accuracy is required for pro-
fessional operation.
Before starting the comparison of the rainfall reading indicator, set any existing
summed rainfall value in the normal display mode back to zero as described in
section 3.2.3 "Rainfall measurement".
For the exact calibration proceed as follows:
1. Over a ten-minute period slowly pour 100 ml of water into the rain sensor col-
lector funnel.
CAUTION!
Pouring quickly will falsify the measurement result! Slowly pour the water
into the funnel so that at no point does the funnel contain water.
2. The total amount displayed should be 7.5 l/m
3. If a deviating value is displayed, then the rocker value should be recalculated as
follows:

Using the "-" and "+" keys in the "Rainfall per rocker" sensor field set the calibra-
tion factor to the new value.
The ex-works set value (basic setting) is 370. This is re-set automatically after an
initialisation.
By pressing the "back" key (3 x, until normal mode is reached) the set value is
accepted.

Setting of the wind rose main direction

Here the wind rose graphic can be "rotated" in 22.5˚ steps on the main display in
the required direction, e.g. with east pointing upwards. This is practical when the
weather station has been placed on the east side, and reading is also from this
