All important weather information appears concurrently on the LC display, so that
the device does not have to be operated to record the weather situation.
Several base devices can be operated concurrently and the sensor data can there-
fore be displayed at several places at the same time.
Please read the instructions carefully from start to finish before initial start-up
to avoid functional breakdown and faulty operation.
Pay particular attention to the assembly and calibration instructions for re-
cording of the reading.
The indoor/outdoor sensor system of the WS 3001 operates exclusively with radio
data transfer. You can set up or mount the sensors up to 100 m (depending on local
conditions, see section on "range") from the base station. Longer distances are
possible using a repeater (see section 9).
Some outdoor sensors derive their operating voltage from integrated solar cells.
Pay particular attention, therefore, to the setting up and assembly instructions for
these components, in order to ensure correct functioning of the complete system.
Ensure that for operation of the weather station at least one S 2000 ID sensor
is available, as the base device does not have its own sensors.
