EN 60 745 are typically:

The emission values specifi ed (vibration,
noise) were measured in accordance with
the test conditions stipulated in EN 60 745
and are intended for machine comparisons.
They are also used for making preliminary
estimates regarding vibration and noise
loads during operation.
The emission values specifi ed refer to the
main applications for which the power tool
is used. If the electric power tool is used for
other applications, with other tools or is not
maintained suffi ciently prior to operation,
however, the vibration and noise load may
be higher when the tool is used.
Take into account any machine idling times
and downtimes to estimate these values
more accurately for a specifi ed time period.
This may signifi cantly reduce the load dur-
ing the machine operating period.

Putting into operation

WARNING
Connect only to a single-phase alter-
nating current power network with
voltage marked on the nameplate.
It is possible to connect the tool even to
outlets without a protective contact, as this
is a class II appliance.
Check that the information on the manufac-
turing label complies with the actual power
supply voltage.
Check, if the plug type corresponds with
type of the outlet.
Tools designed for 230 V may be connected
to 220 V / 240 V power supply.
7.1 Supplementary handle
assembly
WARNING
Before any interference to the tool,
disconnect the supply cable fi rst.
Use the hammer only with supplementary
handle [1-10]. Mount the handle to the
fastening neck and secure with revolving
grip.

7.2 Switching on / off

The hammer is equipped by the informa-
tion LED [1-7] indicating connection to the
power supply system. As soon as the plug
is inserted into the socket, the diode goes
on green.
The hammer is switched on by depressing
the switch [1-5]. The device goes off as
soon as you release the switch.
CAUTION
For your safety the switch cannot be
secured/locked in the ON position. It
is prohibited to bypass (get round)
this safety mechanism.
