Resetting
Resetting the Moving Parts
It may happen (for example because of a power surge) that a moving part of the device deviates from its
correct neutral position. To solve this, you can reset all moving parts to their default position. This applies to
pan/tilt, colour wheel, gobo wheels, prism, frost, focus, and iris.
To reset all moving parts to their default positions, proceed as follows:
1. Press MENU to open the menu.
2. Select <Reset Setup>, then select <Auto Reset>.
The device resets all moving parts. During reset, the display shows the name of the device.
Resetting Individual Moving Parts
Instead of resetting all moving parts at once to their default positions, you can also choose to reset only one or
more individual moving parts:
1. Press MENU to open the menu.
2. Select <Reset Setup>, then select <Setup Manual Reset>.
3. Select the moving part that you want to reset:
<Pan/Tilt>: pan and tilt
o
<Color>: colour wheel
o
<Gobo1/R-Gobo1>: gobo wheel 1, including rotation
o
<Gobo2>: gobo wheel 2
o
<Prism/R-Prism>: prism, including rotation
o
<Focus/Frost>: focus and frost
o
<Iris>: iris.
o
4. Select <Yes> to reset the selected moving part to its default position.
Resetting to Default Values
To reset all device settings to the default values, proceed as follows:
1. Press MENU to open the menu.
2. Select <System Setup>, then select <Factory Settings>.
3. Select <Yes>.
All settings are reset to their default values.
Resetting Error Messages
To reset an error message, proceed as follows:
1. Press MENU to open the menu.
2. Select <System Setup>, then select <Reset State>.
3. Select the error message that you want to reset, then select <Yes>.
The message no longer appears on the display.

Cleaning and Maintenance

All screws shall be tightened and free of corrosion.
The housing, the lenses, the mounting supports and the installation location (e.g. ceiling, suspension,
trussing) shall not be deformed, modified or tampered with; e.g. do not drill extra holes in mounting
supports, do not change the location of the connections...
Mechanically moving parts must not show any signs of wear and tear.
The electric power supply cables must not show any damage. Have a qualified technician maintain the
device.
Disconnect the device from the mains prior to maintenance activities. Let the device cool down.
Wipe the device regularly with a moist, lint-free cloth. Do not use alcohol or solvents.
Do not immerse the device in any liquid.
There are no user-serviceable parts, apart from the fuse.
Contact your dealer for spare parts if necessary.
Replacing the Fuse
Only replace the fuse by a fuse of the same type and rating.
1. Before replacing the fuse, switch off the device and unplug the mains lead.
2. Unscrew the fuse holder [5] on the rear panel of the base with an appropriate screwdriver.
