Alarm Recording

You can use a door switch or alarm sensor to trigger
alarm recording. You can make alarm recording in
recording mode, stop mode and power off mode with
the selected recording speed.

Setting the Alarm Speed and
Duration
You can set ALARM SPEED as follows:
3H: for recording in 3-hour mode
12H: for recording in 12-hour mode
NC: for recording at the same speed as before the
alarm was received.
You can set ALARM DURATION as follws:
20S: for recording for 20 seconds
1M: for recording for one minute
CC: for recording as long as the alarm signal is
being input

Turn on the power of the equipment to be used.

Press MENU until the ALARM SET display
appears on the screen.

Press SHIFT $ to move the flashing to SERIES.

Set in which mode the alarm recording begins by
pressing REC/PLAY SPEED +/–.
Y (yes): accepts alarms only in recording mode.
When the VCR is in seriers recording (see page
16), set to Y.
N (no): accepts alarm in recording mode, stop
mode or power off mode.
