FRONT PANEL FUNCTIONS

1. POWER SWITCH
Turns the amp on and off.
2. STANDBY SWITCH
The standby switch is used in conjunction with
the power switch to 'warm up' the amp before
use.
Always turn the power on for two minutes
before switching the standby switch to the 'on'
position.
The standby switch should be set to the 'off'
position during breaks in performances instead
of leaving the amp on full power.
3. INDICATOR
The power indicator will light when the amp's
mains power is switched on.
4. PRESENCE
Adjusts the high frequencies of the power amp.
Increasing the high frequencies adds more bite
to your sound.
5. BASS
Adjusts the low frequencies of the amp. It will
add bottom end and depth to your sound.
6. MIDDLE
Adjusts the mid frequencies of the amp. Giving
you anything from scooped mids to a fat and
full sound.
7. TREBLE
Adjusts the upper frequencies of the amp. Your
tone will get brighter as it is turned up.

8. HIGH TREBLE - LOUDNESS 1
Controls the overall output level of channel
1. This channel is voiced for a higher treble
response than channel 2.
9. NORMAL - LOUDNESS 2
Controls the overall output level of channel 2.
Channel 2 is voiced for normal response and
has a more rounded tone than channel 1.
10. INPUTS.
1 (Top): Connects the guitar to channel 1.
1 (Bottom): Connects the guitar to the lower
sensitivity input on channel 1.
2 (Top): Connects the guitar to channel 2.
2 (Bottom): Connects the guitar to the lower
sensitivity input on channel 2.
Note: some guitar players prefer to mix the
two channels together by connecting a short,
screened patch lead between the bottom input
of channel 1 and the top input of channel 2.
If you then plug your guitar into the top input
of channel 1, you can mix the different tonal
characteristics of each channel for greater
flexibility.
