11.5 Counting the readings
Count every successful measurement and display the total count.

(If you have moved the product to a new location) the product was given at least 30
minutes to adjust to the new ambient conditions.
1. Activate the counting mode (display: Count Mode).
2. Approach the sensor with the object. Maintain about 5 – 10 cm between object and
sensor.

The current count shows on the display.
11.6 Viewing the temperature reading log
Temperature readings are recorded. You can view records as needed.
Every record has an index assigned that is displayed. Example: M03.

13 Cleaning and care

Clean the product with a dry, fibre-free cloth.
NOTICE! Do not use aggressive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical
solutions as they can cause damage to the housing and malfunctioning.
14 Disposal
Electronic devices are recyclable waste and must not be disposed of in the
household waste. At the end of its service life, dispose of the product in accord-
ance with applicable regulatory guidelines.
Remove any inserted (rechargeable) batteries and dispose of them separately
from the product. You as the end user are required by law (Battery Ordinance) to
return all used (rechargeable) batteries. Disposing of them in the household
waste is prohibited.
Contaminated (rechargeable) batteries are labeled with this symbol to indicate
that disposal in the domestic waste is forbidden. The designations for the heavy
metals involved are: Cd = Cadmium, Hg = Mercury, Pb = Lead (name on (re-
chargeable) batteries, e.g. below the trash icon on the left).
You thus fulfill your statutory obligations and contribute to the protection of the environment.
