‚ Unwind the mains power cord completely before each use. When doing so, make
sure that the mains power cord is not damaged by sharp edges or hot objects.
‚ Pull the mains plug out of the socket:
− whenever you are not using your bread maker,
− after each use,
− before cleaning or putting away the machine,
− if there appears to be a malfunction during operation,
− during thunderstorms.
Always pull on the mains plug, not on the mains power cord.
‚ Do not make any changes to the device or the mains power cord. Have repairs
carried out only by a specialist workshop as improperly repaired devices endanger
the user. Please also note the enclosed warranty conditions.
‚ Do not use an extension cable.
RISK of burns - Fire hazard
‚ The bread maker's housing and the dough container become very hot during
operation. Do not touch the housing and always use oven gloves when lifting out
the dough container or taking the dough hook out of your bread.
‚ Never operate the appliance with an empty dough container. If the appliance is
operated without dough, it could overheat.
‚ Never cover up the ventilation slots and never place the appliance near any easily
combustible materials (curtains, hangings, paper, etc.).
NOTE on material damage
‚ Place the device on a stable, level surface. Make sure that the bread maker is
positioned a good distance away from strong heat sources, such as hot plates,
heating pipes, open fires, etc.
‚ The appliance must not be exposed to extreme conditions. For example,
avoid exposure to high humidity and moisture, direct sunlight and extreme
temperatures.
‚ The device has support feet at the bottom. Since furniture or storage surfaces are
made of a wide variety of materials and are treated with a wide variety of care
products, it cannot be completely ruled out that some of these substances contain
components that damage and soften the feet of the device. If necessary, place a
non-slip pad under the base.
‚ When cleaning the bread maker, never use hard, scratchy or abrasive cleaning
materials or products (e.g. steel wool or similar).
‚ Only use the original accessories.
