triangle) alerts the user to the presence
of uninsulated parts inside the unit
having a voltage which is sufficiently
high to constitute a risk of electric shock.
WARNING - This symbol (an exclamation
point inside an equilateral triangle)
alerts the user to the presence of
important operation and maintenance
information in the instruction manual
provided with the unit. To prevent safety
risks, please follow the instructions to
the letter.
A VERY IMPORTANT - This symbol
indicates instructions that must be
followed to the letter in order to prevent
equipment damage or malfunctioning.
A CLOSER LOOK – This symbol indicates
special instructions, suggestions, or
useful information.
IMPORTANT
Before connecting and using the amplifier, please
read the instructions in this manual carefully and
keep it for future reference.
This manual is to be considered an integral part of
the product, and must accompany the amplifier when
it changes ownership as a reference for correct
installation and use as well as for the safety
regulations.
RCF S.p.A. will not assume any responsability for
incorrect amplifier installation.

electric shock, never expose the unit to
rain or humidity.

Safety Precautions

1. Please read the notes preceded by the symbol
with special attention, as they provide
important safety information.
2. The power supply voltage of this equipment is
sufficiently high to involve a risk of electrocution;
therefore, never install or connect the amplifier
with the power supply switched on.
3. Before powering up the unit, make sure that its
supply voltage is compatible with your mains
voltage; if it does not, ask your RCF S.p.A.
dealer to configure the unit for the correct
voltage.
4. The amplifier is earthed by means of the power
cable. To prevent the risk of electric shock, it is
essential that the current outlet used for
supplying this equipment be equipped with an
earth contact.
5. To prevent the risk of fire or electric shock, make
sure that the power cable cannot be stepped on
or crushed by objects. Never bend, jerk, or cut the
cable.
6. To prevent the risk of electric shock, never open
the amplifier. There are no parts on the inside
that the user needs to access.
7. Make sure that no objects or liquids can get into
the amplifier, as this may cause a fire or electric
shock.
8. Never attempt to make repairs that are not
described in this manual. Contact your authorized
service centre or qualified personnel should any
of the following occur:
a. the amplifier does not function (or functions in
an anomalous way).
b. the power supply cable has been damaged.
c. objects or liquids have got into the unit.
d. the amplifier has been subject to heavy impact.
9. When the amplifier is not to be used for long
periods of time, switch it off and disconnect the
power cable.
10. If the amplifier begins to emit any strange odours
or smoke, switch it off immediately and
disconnect the power supply cable.
11. To prevent the risk of electric shock, never
connect or disconnect the power cable with your
hands wet; always grasp the plug directly and
never pull on the cable.
12. In order not to jeopardize the safety of the
amplifier, it must only be connected to the power
supply using the power cable provided. If the
power cable plug does not fit your current outlet,
ask a qualified electrician to substitute the socket
with an appropriate one.
13. Use this equipment only with accessories
specified by RCF S.p.A. or supplied with the
product.
14. Do not situate the unit near heat sources or in
positions that are exposed to direct sunlight.
15. Never spray any substance directly on the unit
(e.g. insecticides, cleaning products, etc.), as the
gasses used in these products could ignite.
