Tool length adjustment with the tool clamped.
Performing an axial or radial tool length adjustment while the tool is
clamped will result in damage to the HTC clamping chuck.
Do not perform a tool length adjustment while the tool is clamped.
Inadequate clamping to the stop and non-compliance with the
minimum revolutions
may cause the tool to be released at high projectile speeds, which can
cause serious injuries.
During clamping, always screw in the clamping screw to the stop in
compliance with the minimum revolutions (see section "3.2 Tech-
nical data").
Using a power screwdriver to clamp the clamping screw
will increase the wear on the clamping screw.
The clamping screw must only be clamped manually.
NOTE
Use only a hex wrench with T-key
and size 2.0 to tighten the tool length
setting screw.
3. Adjust the HTC clamping chuck to the tool
length by turning the radial tool length set-
ting screw with the aid of the hex-wrench
with T-key (see "Figure 10: Adjusting
tool").
