NOTE
Tools are only allowed to be clamped and installed in a machine tool by trained,
authorised and dependable specialist personnel. The specialist personnel must be
able to recognise and avoid hazards.
NOTE
Ensure the minimum number of turns from the clamping point to the stop as stated
in "3.2 Technical data" is reached. If this is not the case, for quality reasons stop
using HTC clamping chuck and send for repair.

The radial or axial tool length setting screw is tightened with the
wrong screwdriver.
Tightening the tool length setting screw with the wrong screwdriver will
result in damage to the tool length setting screw.
 Use only a hex wrench with T-key to tighten the tool length setting
screw.
By clamping the HTC clamping chuck without any tools at about
40°C
may result in a deformation of the expansion chuck.
 Do not clamp the HTC clamping chuck at about 40°C without any
tools.
