6.1 Standard Terminal Variant 7XT3400-0xA00
6.1.1 Overview
The device terminals consist of combinations of 4-pole voltage modules.
✧ Ground the device at the grounding areas with low resistance and low
inductance.
✧ Establish the connections via the screwed terminals. Pay attention to the
labeling, permitted conductor cross-sections, and bending radii.
NOTE
Screwed terminals can be used without bootlace ferrules.
Do not use any pin-type terminal lugs.
NOTE
Prefer the screwed terminals. Plug-in terminals require special tools and must be
used with a permitted pull relief for wiring the system.
✧ The terminal screws are screwed tight upon delivery. Release the terminal
screws before inserting the connecting cable into the terminal chamber.

✧ Strip the connecting cable to the stripping length specified in Chapter 6.1.2
using suitable insulation strippers.
