To attach the bootlace ferrules to the connecting cable:
✧ Select the appropriate bootlace ferrule and crimping tools.
✧ Insert the stripped connecting cable into the bootlace ferrule.
✧ Crimp the bootlace ferrule and observe the allowed ferrule length (crimping
section) of the bootlace ferrule (see Chapter 6.1.2).
NOTE
After crimping, the used bootlace ferrules must comply with the geometry for termi-
nal chamber dimensions according to EN 60 947-7, test mandrel A1.
✧ Insert the connecting cable into the terminal chamber as far as it will go and
screw the terminal screw tight observing the permitted tightening torques.
