Emptying the ice bank (HCA only):
Follow steps 13 to 15 (HCA) on pages 161 to 162 as described in chapter 11 Cleaning and disinfection
instructions.
Emptying the boiler (HCS and HCA):
Follow steps 15 to 17 (HCS) on pages 152 to 153 and steps 13 to 15 (HCA) on pages 161 to 162 in
chapter 11.
Before starting to operate the dispenser again after the break, the boiler must be refilled and
the dispenser switched on again (see items 18 to 19 [HCS] and 16 to 17 [HCA] in chapter 11).
6.4 REPLACING THE UV LAMP
Caution!
» When working on the UV lamp, the water dispenser must be disconnected from the mains
power supply or the mains power supply switched off.
» Wear protective gloves when replacing the UV lamp.
» Never put the UV lamp into operation outside the protective device provided.
» Avoid direct eye or skin contact when the UV lamp is switched on.
» If the UV lamp should break, ventilate the room for about 30 minutes and remove the broken
parts using cut-resistant gloves.
The following steps are to be taken into account when replacing the UV lamp:

1. Disconnect the water dispenser from the
mains power supply or switch it off
2. Open or remove the cover of the water
dispenser upwards from behind
3. Disconnect the cable connection of the UV
lamp
4. Pull the UV lamp upwards and out
5. Insert a new UV lamp
6. Reconnect the cable connection of the UV
lamp
7. Close or replace the cover
8. Reconnect the water dispenser to the
mains power supply and switch it on
