FOR LAMINATION
I. Flatten distal end of Plaster Cast (3)
enough to centrally attach Delrin Tooling
Body (2). Attach with nails provided or
double-sided tape maintaining original pin
alignment
II. Apply inner PVA bag. Pull through central
hole of Lam/Therm Ring (4). Flare bag
away from central hole and attach ring
using Delrin Screw (1), sealing PVA bag in
the process
NOTE: Ensure that arrow (A) on
Lam/Therm Ring (4) is aligned in AP or
ML direction
III. Place some clay in spacing screw heads
(B) and in groove on Delrin Screw (C)

IV. Tie in lay-up material. Tie all but first layer
beyond Lam/Therm Ring. Ensure that
four spacing (B) screws are embedded
evenly in material
V. Apply outer PVA bag and complete
lamination
VI. Grind distal end accurately to expose
spacer screw heads (B). DO NOT grind
any deeper!
VII. Remove spacer screws (B) and attach
Lock Body (5) with four long countersunk
screws (6). Use Loctite 410 or 411 and
torque to 12 Nm (9 ft.lbs.)
NOTE: Push Button (8) may be
shortened by cutting it with hacksaw
