In order to ensure the operational reliability of the detector, according to
DIN EN 14676 servicing has to be carried out at least once a year. Proceed
as follows.
Remove dust from the detector with a soft cloth if necessary.

Remove dirt with a damp cloth if necessary.

Do not use any detergents.
Press the test button and compare the result to:

* According to the standard DIN EN 14604, audible signalling is sufficient.
In case of radio-connected smoke detectors, the mounting instructions for
the Basis/Pro radio modules (Part no. 7002731) have to be observed.
