Automatic readiness for operation
After having been inserted into the base, the smoke detector automati-
cally starts operation.

Alarm memory

If the smoke detector had an alarm, this is visually indicated by the LED
until it is acknowledged.

Integrated real-time clock
Suppression of status messages which do not affect the operation of the
smoke detector by the integrated real-time clock between 10 pm and
6 am CET* in order not to disturb the sleep.

Reduced light intensity
Automatic reduction of LED light intensity by means of the integrated
real-time clock between 10 pm and 6 am CET*.

Contamination compensation
The detector controls its basic signal according to its level of contami-
nation and thereby reaches a higher service life than smoke detectors
without compensation. If the maximum contamination level is reached by
the readjustment, this is signalled as a failure.
