Testing the wireless link

To preserve the batteries as long as possible,
the system only tests for the presence of a
telephone line once, directly after the batter-
ies are put in.
For the same reason, it only tests for the
presence of a wireless link once, after the
power is switched on, and then only every 30
minutes.
This is how to carry out the test:
• Take out the batteries.
• Switch the power to the boiler off and on
again.
• Put the batteries back in.

Battery

The batteries should last for about two years,
depending on use and ambient conditions.
The following factors may shorten the battery
life:
- Poor wireless connection
- Alarm messages
- Reading the appliance data
Note
The system sends a message when
the batteries need replacing.
