OPERATION

The control panel
On the control panel, switch the device ON or OFF and select one of the six
programmes for the automatic preparation of your favourite hot beverage.
Switching on and off
• To switch the device on, connect it to the mains and press the POWER button.
• To switch off the device, press the POWER button and disconnect the device
from the power supply by pulling the plug out of the socket.
• Always switch off the device when it is not in use to prevent damage to the
device and to save energy.
Removing the milk tank
1 To remove the milk tank for fi lling or cleaning, switch off the device and
disconnect it from the power supply.
2 Let the device cool down completely.
Note: To avoid damage from electric shock, ensure that the device is completely
turned off before adding or removing any components, and before cleaning.
3 Remove the frother (5).
4 Press the locking button (11) on the milk tank to release the tank from the
device.
5 Carefully lift the milk tank out of the device.
