10.4 Screed heating function

The screed function makes use of the underfloor heating to dry out floor underlays in a controlled
manner. It regulates the heating circuit flow line temperature - irrespective of weather conditions
and room influences - in accordance with a defined temperature profile (e.g. profile 1 pursuant to
DIN EN 1264 Part 4).
The realisable temperature profile must be set accordingly.
Warning!
- The work to be carried out demands a duty of care (opening barriers etc.).
- Enough heat energy must be available (observe maximum flow line temperature).
Sequence:
In order to realise flexible heating phases in accordance with the different requirements on
temperature profiles depending on the screed properties, up to 12 diff. steps with their own
temperatures and hold days may be set. Once the screed function has been launched (e.g. via the
app), the function starts immediately. As soon as the first setpoint temperature has been reached,
LED 1 flashes green. LED 5 flashes magenta. The heating circuit pump starts up at 100%.
The set temperatures are then maintained for their respective durations.
The overall process will run for a maximum of 26 days.

The LED displays show the state or status of the heating phases symbolically by flashing or staying
solidly lit.

Note: FLF = fast flash green once the corresponding sub-process is complete; the respective LEDs will
then stay solidly lit in green.
e.g. LED 1 flashes for as long as the process is less than 25% complete; once 25% has been achieved
it will light up until the function is terminated.
Note:
After a power cut, the function continues at the point at which the interruption occurred.
