Once the hold time has been reached or the function switched off via the app, the disinfection
function will end, the DWC pump will be switched off and normal operation resumed.
Hold time:
- The set disinfection temperature must be maintained during this period for a successful
disinfection. The temperature is measured at the shared cold water sensor. If the temperature falls
below the measured value during the hold period, the meter resets itself and starts to count the
time from zero. As soon as the disinfection temperature has been maintained for the stipulated
time, the disinfection function is terminated.
Max. run time:
- The maximum run time is the overall operating time of the function. If the setpoint value is not
maintained for the set hold time within this maximum run time, an alarm is triggered. Once the
disinfection temperature has been maintained for the duration of the hold period, the disinfection
function is terminated before the end of the maximum run time.
- After 3 failed attempts, the system will exit disinfection mode.
- Factory setting: 60 minutes, adjustment range (1 minute intervals)
Interval time:
- Interval time setting
- The T. hot water is monitored for the set period. If the setpoint value for disinfection is not
maintained for the set hold time, the function will start!
Temperatures and times can be recorded using data recorders.
Warning! As temperatures of up to 80 °C are possible on the DW side, the following scald
prevention functions are available:
- if during therm. disinfection a DHW draw-off is detected (via flow sensor), the control valve will
close the primary side to the heat exchanger and switch off the DWC pump.
