Commissioning

5.1

Carrying out initialisation

Ensure that the separator tank has been topped up to the calm water level with clean water and the distance from the
sensor finger to the water line (calm level) is 50 cm (default configuration).
Plug in the mains plug.
The initialisation of the control unit starts automatically.
During initialisation, the following input is expected:

For an error-free measurement, the inputs for
evant data can be found on the system's type plate. The
calm level and correct position of the sensors.

5.2 Make the settings
Set the rest period/measurement interval
Reliable layer thickness measurements are only possible if there is no water inflow to the grease separator at the time of the
measurement, e.g. if the kitchen is currently not in use (at rest). The daily recurring measurement interval must be defined
to take place during this rest period. If the kitchen is in use during the measurement interval, the control unit receives invalid
results. If invalid results are measured over longer periods of the measurement interval, an invalid layer thickness ("--") is
displayed and is entered in the
Determine the daily rest period of the kitchen.
Navigate in the control unit via
(Password: 1000).
Define the Start and End of the measurement interval and confirm with OK.
Calibrate sensor
Ensure that the separator is topped up with clean water up to the calm (static) level.
Calibrate sensor.
Confirm value with "OK".
The sensor calibration must be repeated after each disposal.
