If the offline weight measurement only is carried out by a user who has
previously registered on the App, and who is therefore already associated to
a measurement log, the scale associates the registered user to the weight by
an automatic recognition feature, therefore it is possible to view the data of
the 8 basic measurements on the display even offline.
2. There are 4 additional measurements, only available on the App, that can be
activated in the settings:
Protein
Obesity Degree
Body Age
Weight without Fat
The scale switches off automatically after a few seconds if not in use.
l
When using a smartphone, or a different device, before measuring the weight
l
always ensure the Bluetooth® connection of your device is active and that the
App is running and displayed on it.
This scale can store up to 8 users in a single account and on a single device.
l
Before making any measurement, always remember to select the user where
you wish to store the data on the smartphone.
Each user can indicate their ideal weight to build a customised plan.

ASSESSING THE RESULTS
MEASURING PRINCIPLE
This scale uses the BIA measurement principle, i.e. bioelectrical impedance
l
analysis. In the space of few seconds, an imperceptible impulse, which is
harmless and non hazardous, establishes the various body percentages.
By measuring electrical resistance (impedance) and taking into account
l
individual constants or values (age, height, sex, activity level) it is possible to
establish the fat mass percentage and other body characteristics.
Please note that the values measured by the scale approach the actual values
l
obtained with medical tests with a deviation percentage. Only a specialist is
able to perform the exact calculation of fat mass, water percentage, muscular
mass and bone mass.

BODY MASS INDEX (BMI)
rate
The Body Mass Index (BMI) is a widely used parameter to obtain a general
assessment of one's body weight and it is calculated by relating the person's
height to their weight.
For adults aged 20 or older, the BMI is interpreted using weight classes that
are the same for all ages and sexes. However, it is important to know that the
body mass index does not make it possible to distinguish weight changes due
to the extent of the muscular mass, bone mass, water content or fatty deposits.
Therefore, one must not be deceived by the simplicity of BMI calculation: its
assessment must be the responsibility of the doctor or other specialists
