2. INTRODUCTION

This documentation provides support to electricians and users in the assembly, commissioning
and configuration of the Smart Energy Monitor. The aim is to individually adjust the Smart
Energy Monitor to the local installation and personal requirements.
The embedded software on the Smart Energy Monitor itself is constantly improved and
extended. The online updates may mean that configuration menus alter in terms of their design
and handling. Functions may also be added or deleted.
The Smart Energy Monitor is a tool to read and save Sensors and measuring devices (energy meters, w ater
meters, etc.). This allow s users the w ide-ranging analysis of its data.
