INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Apply the CureWrap
™
CureWrap
or Model 3500 CureWrap
™
• Unroll the CureWrap
™
numbers legible.
• Connect CureWrap
to CritiCool
™
Connecting Water Hoses, listening for the click. Confirm that the clamps on the wrap tubes are open.
(See Image A and/or Image #5).
• Activate CritiCool
.

• Position patient on CureWrap
Refer to Image B (and/or Images #1-5) for correct armpit positioning.
• Wait until CureWrap
™
Water will not flow without a valid core temperature. See CritiCool User Manual
for instructions on temperature probes.
• When closing the CureWrap
(There should be a finger's width space between the patient and the CureWrap
and D).
CAUTION:
• U.S. Federal Law restricts this device for sale to or on the order of a physician.
• Avoid handling CureWrap
• Do not use the CureWrap
• Ensure that CureWrap
• If treatment exceeds 72 hours, replace CureWrap

• Switch off CritiCool
device or switch it to standby mode.

• Wait a few seconds.
• Close clamps and disconnect.
• Unwrap patient and dispose of CureWrap
Zařízení CureWrap™ aplikujte na pacienta v souladu s níže uvedenými pokyny a podle ilustrací
pro prostředek Pediatric CureWrap™ nebo Model 3500 CureWrap™.

Prostředek CureWrap™ rozbalte na posteli tak, aby hadičky směřovaly k hlavě a aby číslo šarže a čísla
součástí byla čitelná.
•
Prostředek CureWrap™ připojte ke CritiCool® tak, že hadičky obalu zasunete do plastových koncovek
modrých propojovacích hadiček na vodu, dokud neuslyšíte cvaknutí. Ujistěte se, že svorky na hadičkách
obalu jsou otevřené. (Viz obrázek A a/nebo obrázek č. 5).

Spusťte CritiCool

Položte pacienta na prostředek CureWrap™ tak, aby mu hlava směřovala k hadičkám. Správnou polohu
podpaží vidíte na obrázku B (a/nebo obrázcích č. 1-5).
•
Počkejte, dokud se CureWrap™ nenaplní vodou, a teprve potom ho zafixujte kolem pacienta. Pokud
nebude správná teplota středu, voda nebude proudit. Pokyny ohledně teplotních sond najdete v návodu
k obsluze zařízení CritiCool
•
Když prostředek CureWrap™ omotáváte kolem pacienta, dbejte na to, aby nebyl příliš těsný. (Mezi
pacientem a CureWrap™ by měla být mezera na šířku prstu). (Viz obrázky C a D).
POZOR:
• S prostředkem CureWrap™ nemanipulujte pomocí ostrých předmětů.
• Prostředek CureWrap™ nepoužívejte ke zvedání pacienta.
• Dávejte pozor, aby se CureWrap™ nepřehnul nebo neskřípnul.
• Pokud léčba překročí dobu 72 hodin, CureWrap™ vyměňte.
POZNÁMKA: Pokud ze zařízení CritiCool
Jak vypnout CureWrap™:
• Zařízení CritiCool
vypněte nebo ho přepněte do pohotovostního režimu.

• Počkejte několik vteřin.
• Uzavřete svorky a odpojte je.
• Pacienta rozbalte a CureWrap™ vyhoďte.
