Setting the temperature

After plugging in the iron, set required ironing
temperature by turning the temperature setting
dial to the appropriate position (see the

temperature and steam settings table below).
2 The temperature of your appliance can be
increased by turning the temperature setting
dial clockwise. For steam ironing temperature

setting dial should be in the range between

When setting the temperature of your appliance,
we recommend to consider the following table.

In order to learn the ironing temperature to be
used, check the garment's care label.

If you don't know the fabric of your garment, first
iron a part that is not visible and determine a
correct ironing temperature for it.

In order to prevent shiny stains that may form on
synthetic fabrics or silk, iron on the reverse side
of the fabric. Do not use the spray function in
order to prevent the stain formation.
Steam ironing

Set the desired steam level by pushing the
steam setting knob

Set the required ironing temperature (see
chapter "Setting the temperature"). Make sure
that the temperature setting dial

Vertical steam ironing

Note
•
Vertical steam ironing can be applied to hanging
clothing items (suits, jackets and coats).
Caution
• Never direct the steam at people or pets.

Hold the iron in a vertical position and press
the steam burst button

Steam burst

During ironing, in order to remove tenacious
creases, you can gain strong steam by pressing
on the steam burst button
5-second intervals.

When you start to iron, steam burst may not
emit in your first couple of presses. In order to
gain steam burst, the temperature setting dial
should be at ••• or a higher level.

You can iron the creased parts of the garments
with the steam power which is obtained by
pressing the steam burst button
ironing. However if this process is maintained
without an interruption, water may also come
from the iron soleplate
Water spray

Make sure there is sufficient water in the water
tank. Spray function can be used in order to
remove tenacious creases by pressing the spray
button during dry or steam ironing.
