Setting the temperature

After plugging in the iron, set required iron-
ing temperature by turning the temperature
setting dial to the appropriate position

The temperature of your appliance can be
increased by turning the temperature setting
dial clockwise. For steam ironing tempera-

In order to learn the ironing temperature to
be used, check the garment's care label.
4 If you don't know the fabric of your garment,
first iron a part that is not visible and deter-
mine a correct ironing temperature for it.

In order to prevent shiny stains that may form
on synthetic fabrics or silk, iron on the reverse
side of the fabric. Do not use the spray func-
tion in order to prevent the stain formation.

Steam ironing

Set the desired steam level by pushing the
steam setting knob

Set the required ironing temperature (see
chapter "Setting the temperature"). Make
sure that the temperature setting dial
within the range between "eco" and MAX.
When the thermostat warning light turns off,
the soleplate temperature has reached the
level to generate steam.

Vertical steam ironing

Note
Vertical steam ironing can be applied to

hanging curtains or clothes (suits, jackets and
coats).
Caution
Never direct the steam at people or pets.

Hold the iron in a vertical position and press
the steam burst button

Steam burst

During ironing, in order to remove the tena-
cious creases, you can gain strong steam by
pressing on the steam burst button
times with 5-second intervals.
2 When you start to iron, steam burst may not
emit in your first couple of presses. In order
to gain steam burst, the temperature setting
dial should be at ••• or a higher level.

You can iron the creased parts of the gar-
ments with the steam power which is ob-
tained by pressing the steam burst button
during steam ironing. However if this process
is maintained without an interruption, water
may also come from the iron soleplate
along with the steam.
