Confirm that the setup program detects the machine automatically.
MP600R connected with the USB cable is detected automatically via the access point.
When the machine is detected automatically
The machine is detected automatically if no operation is required for connecting to the
machine. Go to step 9 to proceed with the setup.
If the Set Printer IP Address dialog box is
displayed
If the machine is not detected automatically, the
Set Printer IP Address dialog box is displayed.
Click Connect to connect to the machine. If the
machine is still not detected, see "The Set Printer
IP Address dialog box is displayed during setup" on
page 69.

When the screen shown on the right appears,
turn off the machine and disconnect the USB
cable.
The network connection between the machine and
the computer is now successfully established.
Important
Before unplugging the power cord, make sure that the
POWER lamp is not lit.

Place the machine where you will be using it, turn on the machine, then click Next.

Click Next on the Connection Performance
Measurement dialog box.
The measurement of the communication
performance starts, and the results are displayed.
Note
The measurement takes a few minutes. To cancel the
measurement, click Cancel.
You can also execute the same measurement by using
the Canon IJ Network Tool.
