Starting up CMx2 HDMI

When all connections are fixed properly, the "Status" LED on
the side of the HDMI jacks on both devices lights in one of
the following colors:
Green, flashing - signal transmission without HDCP
Green, steady shining - signal transmission with HDCP 1.X
Blue, steady shining - signal transmission with HDCP 2.X
The image signal of the video source can now be seen on the
output medium.

Possible Operation Errors CMx2 HDMI

Error Possible reasons
LED is off The devices do not get any
power
Red, steady flashing 1.) The module detects an
on the receiver open fiber connection
2.) The fiber optic cable is
too long, or has increased
attenuation values
Pink / purple, steady The fiber connection is
flashing open and the lasers have
been disabled.
Bootloader is connected.
Yellow, steady The fiber connection
shining was detected, but the
connection initialization
failed

If there is no fiber connection between the CMx2 transmitter
and the CMx2 receiver, the "Status" LED flashes red.
This is also for a fiber connection with excessive attenuation
or fiber optic cable length excess. So it is quite easy to locate
a fault within the fiber optic connection.

Debugging
Check the correct function of the mains
voltage
1.) Check if the fiber optic cable is plugged
2.) Check the proper function of the fiber
optic cable
Device is in bootloader mode
HDMI signal was not initialized. Make sure
that the connection is ok without the
CMx2 media converters.
Most common causes of error are sources
or displays which are not active
