Pre-filter replacement

The pre-filters are the preliminary stage before the reverse osmosis membranes and are specifically desig-
ned to protect them. Therefore, it is necessary to change the pre-filters regularly every six months.
Changing the pre- filters regularly is also one of the warranty conditions. Thus, please observe the filter
change intervals. To change the pre-filters or the post-filters, please refer to the illustrations below and
proceed as follows:
Disconnect the device from the power supply. To do this, turn it off and pull the power cord from the device.
Please disconnect all tubes to and from the device. Push the tubes into the connector couplings, then push
the retaining element into the connector and pull the tube out.
To change the filter units, open the right side of
the Verdanium Home. You will need a T 20 Torx
screwdriver.
Unscrew the 5 housing screws – please do not
use excessive force when loosening the screws.
Thanks to the tilt-able filter heads of the pre-
and post-filters, you can easily remove the filters
without additional tools. Tilt the first PP filter
unit forwards out of the Verdanium Home.

After you have loosened the screws, you can re-
move the filter housing cover. In the next step
you can remove the pre- and post- filters.
Turn pre-filter cartridge counterclockwise 90°
out of the filter head to change the filter unit.
Now you can remove the second PP filter unit
from the filter head. Tilt it forward out of the
Verdanium Home again.
Before inserting the new filter units, remove the
protective cap from the filters. You can easily
push it upwards to remove it.
This completes the semi-annual filter change. Once the new filters are installed you can close the housing
again and screw-on the cover. Please do not use excessive force when tightening the screws.

Reconnect the Verdanium Home again to the withdrawal tap and any other connected devices, the water
supply and the drain. Restore the power supply and turn on the Verdanium Home.
Open the water supply to the Verdanium Home, and proceed with the start-up after filter change.
