Installation

The following connections are required for the installation of the Verdanium Home:
•
1 x power socket 230V AC
•
1 x cold water supply connection 3/4" external thread (washing machine connection)
•
1 x wastewater connection, for example to the siphon below the sink
The optimal installation surface for your Verdanium Home is in the cabinet below the kitchen sink.
Please make sure for proper operation of the filter that:
•
the Verdanium Home is standing upright, stable and even on all feet.
•
the Verdanium Home is not standing on soft floor surfaces.
•
the Verdanium Home is placed, if possible, in a corner of the cabinet base as the cabinet is
strongest in this location.
•
Before installation, you must remove the blind plugs from the Verdanium Home.
To ensure proper operation of the Verdanium Home, it must stand vertically and evenly on
all feet.
The Verdanium Home may only be connected to the cold water connection! The con-
nection to the hot water supply will inevitably destroy the unit.

Standard installation under the kitchen sink
To install the Hydro-Stopper, proceed as follows:
Insert an AA LR 6 alkaline battery into the Hydro-Stopper and mount it with the sealing strainer inserted
onto the angle valve of the cold-water connection. Do not use rechargeable batteries in the Hydro-Stopper,
only use an AA LR 6 Alkaline battery, as it will not discharge on its own and will last for a year in the Hydro-
Stopper without any problems. Screw the connection adapter 3/4" to 3/8" tube onto the Hydro-Stopper.
Place the sensors of the Hydro-Stopper at the lowest point of your built-in kitchen cabinet.
Change the AA LR 6 battery after each filter change or at least yearly.
All components marked here are included in the standard scope of delivery.
Both connections to the angle valve and the Verdanium Home are under full water pressure
and should be installed with particular care. Check that both connections, with the angle
valve opened, are leak-proof.
